Stacking the Shelves #50

Welcome to Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

I haven't posted an actual STS in a while. I've just been adding it to my Weekly Update. I missed a week or so though, so I have a larger amount and thought that they deserved their own post.

I also am really excited about a non-book addition. Want to know what it is and why I'm so excited??? It's a bookshelf! So great, right?!! Lol! I had a ton of books in my room and now a lot of them are moved out along with some of the kids' books and now I have some empty shelves. Yay! Here's what it looks like:

I've also gotten some physical books over the past several weeks. Two of these I've already read and loved, The Kiss of Deception and The Fire Wish (review to come). I'm planning on really enjoying all the rest!

Did you get anything this week? If not, what are you looking forward to reading or adding to your shelves?

  1. So many books! I bought a physical copy of Kiss of Deception too because I loved it so much!!! Perfect Couple looks cute. I haven't decided if I'm reading Sinner (I can't remember anything about the characters), but I've read great reviews. Have fun reading! ~Pam

  4. Amazing haul this week! I love your new bookshelf, I was so excited when I got my 2 new ones recently. It was so much fun to being able to rearrange my books and actually have some space on my shelves. I have just started The Kiss of Deception and I am enjoying it so far. I hope you enjoy all your reads this week :) Here's my STS.

  9. I have read a couple of Dessen's but I don't think that one and not the others.

  10. It is a little bit of a stockpiled list, so that's why there are as many as there are. Then those last four aren't being released until around next May. It's crazy how early they have them up! Sinner is about Cole - he's the former famous band star who got turned into a wolf and is the rich girl's (Isabel or something???) counterpart. I'm kind of curious about this one because it's such a delayed addition, so there had to be a reason the author felt she needed to write this story. Yes! K of D was so good!! Definitely a favorite from this year!

  11. It WAS awesome!! I can't wait for the next one, which is obviously going to be a long wait.

  12. I know. I was just thinking that just means I can fill it up with more books and really I don't have a lot more space even with the new bookshelf. My brain seems to not get this though. Lol!

  14. Really, I'm such a geek that I get excited about a bookshelf, but it is fun just like you said. :) I really hope you enjoy The Kiss of Deception. I think I'm going to like the next book even more. Too bad I have to wait FOREVER! ;)

  17. The Fire Wish was really good (review will post next week) and I'm planning on finishing The Midnight Thief this week. I've been so happy with what's been coming out in YA!!

  18. It is! Although, I've been reading enough that I've been able to consistently take books off of it too, which is good. I have completely filled it before and my goal is to not do that again. :)

  22. I ended up with more than I had planned on and then thought that was probably okay because I would have less this week and then HarperTeen loaded some on Edelweiss that I just couldn't pass up. *sigh* What's one to do? Lol! I definitely like seeing what you think about the same books I read. :)

  23. This sounds like a cute read. I love cozy mysteries and the theme for this one is appealing. I saw Diamond Rings Are Deadly Things on Netgalley. Maybe I should see if its still there.

Okay, I'm excited to possibly read 'Kiss of Deception' and almost bought it the other day but skipped out; cannot wait to read Julianna's two other books; and I am looking forwad to Amanda Cabot's this fall. It looks and sounds darling.
Oh, and Susan May Warren's new book = beautiful! :)

  28. Hi Tressa!! I can't find a link to your Street Team. Can you help please?

  29. This series is awesome! Definitely check it out!! :)

  30. It's actually for the author's Street Team, so you need to go to her website. I just noticed that it's not included in her links. It would be: http://www.melissa-wright.com/. Thanks!
