I'm joining the High Summer Read-a-Thon hosted by Seasons of Reading. You can find out all about it here. The goal is to just get as much reading done as possible.

I haven't been extremely motivated in my reading lately. I think some of it is that this year has been so busy between my blog, family, church, book tours, etc. that I've just been tired. It makes me sad when I'm too tired to read. I mean, isn't that just a depressing thought? July has been more laid back so far and it has been so nice! I've taken some much deserved breathers and some breaks, but now I'm ready to jump back into my reading. I was also looking ahead to what August holds for my blog and it is a very busy schedule! I need to start reading ahead and also read some books I've missed and am dying to read. I know this is just a week long, so I'll only be able to read so much.

So, GOALS. Ideally I would love to read a book a day. That would just be fabulous!

Here are the books that I need to read this week (because they're for tours this week and next):
Another Time For Love  A Bride at Last (Unexpected Brides #3) Dancing to an Irish Reel
A Timeless Romance Anthology: Annette Lyon Collection Shadows of Ladenbrooke Manor Love on a Whim Veils and Vengeance (Wedding Planner Mysteries, #2)

Here are the books I'd like to read that aren't for tours (some of which I've started, but had to put down, so I'll be starting over):
Blythewood (Blythewood, #1) This Quiet Sky The Wishing Season (Chapel Springs, #3) The Start of Me and You
A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1) Daughter of Deep Silence Crimson Bound A Month of Sundays

Before these I'm going to join Kristy Cambron's #AmReadingChallenge and read this (hopefully):
The Curiosity Keeper (Treasures of Surrey, #1)

How are you doing this summer with your reading? Do you need a little extra encouragement? ;) Feel free to join me!

  8. Welcome, Tressa! I do hope you're enjoying the read-a-thon so far. I've been busy with the last days of an out of town guest visiting so I'm really behind visiting blogs. Happy reading! I hope the read-a-thon helps you get your motivation back. :)
