While A COWBOY OF CONVIENCE is my sixth Love Inspired Historical novel, it has the distinction of also being my first full-length marriage of convenience story—and my first book to feature dude ranching! I read about the history of dude ranches while trying to come up with the idea for this story and found it so fascinating I decided to make these ranches a central part of the plot and setting for my story.
Main characters, Vienna and West, were first introduced to readers in THE RANCHER’S TEMPORARY ENGAGEMENT. I enjoyed giving them their own love story here as well as introducing readers to Vienna’s adorable daughter Hattie.
