Melt sounds very good. I see that you got a couple that I'm not familiar with. Great stack of books this week. Enjoy your new books.

  3. Congrats on all the books, you are going to love In Your Dreams! I am exited about Sacrifice, I can't believe it is the last book already!

  4. Loves of adult romance this week. I love Melt's cover and the synopsis sounded good. I also saw some positive reviews, so I'm hoping I'll like it.

  5. I love that author even though I like cleaner books. She is one of the three or four adult romance authors I'll read, so I was so happy to find it still available on NG and be approved for it. :) I'm excited about Sacrifice too!! Those brothers! Lol! ;)

  6. I was surprised I got it, but happy too! I received two of the others in that series from NG and reviewed them, so maybe that's why. I hope we both love it!

  7. I'm trying. I have so many books I need and want to read! It helps when you love what you're reading too. :) Thanks for stopping by! I'll return the favor. :)

  8. It will post this weekend or next week. It was probably my favorite of the series.

  9. Oh man, I LOVE Juliet Marillier. I'm dying to read The Caller. I like clean romances, too, but I'm not as familiar with them as a genre. For example, I LOVED Blackmoore by Julianne Donaldson, and would love to read books similar to that one (saw that you gave it 5 stars!)

  10. In Your Dreams and All is Fair in Love and Cupcakes both have adorable covers, and Melt sounds really good. Enjoy them all! My STS.

  11. I think I liked "City of Glass" best, but this one was definitely good, especially as I didn't like "City of Lost Souls" all that much.

  12. I've seen Melt floating around recently. It looks really good. Same with Sacrifice. I have to look into these. Great haul!

  13. The last two before this one were so-so for me, but I did like the first book, City of Bones, I think the best or equally to this one.

  14. Me too! I've read the other two books, so now I need to find how it's all going to end. She has a new book coming out called Dreamer's Pool in November. I'm hoping it will be clean.

Loved, loved, loved Blackmoore! I could re-read that a million times over. Have you read Edenbrooke too? That is also a favorite. You should try Sarah M. Eden's books if you like those. You can do a search for her on my blog and pull up a bunch of hers that I've reviewed. You should also check out Becoming Lady Lockwood. It wasn't as good as Blackmoore, but was still good. You can see my review here. All the Heartwarming line from Harliquin are clean/sweet romances. They're all contemporary so you may or may not like them if historical is more your thing.

  15. They are super cute! I hope I do enjoy them all. I'll be over...

  16. Sacrifice is the fifth (I think) book in that series and I'm looking forward to reading it. Hopefully I'll like them all.

  17. Thanks, Natalie! I hope I do. ;)

City of Heavenly Fire is such a long book to read, but has a lot of action. <3

  19. I'm totally going to check this out! One of the reasons I loved Blackmoore so much was because of the chemistry between the characters, so I'm super excited to read Becoming Lady Lockwood! Thanks for the rec :)

  20. You're welcome! I hope you enjoy it!! :)

  21. Yes to both. Took me two days, which is still really good being over 700 pages long. :) It definitely is a page-turner.

Sacrifice! I've only read the first book, so I'm going to have to catch up with the series, heard they got better after the first, since I had a few issues with it. :) Happy reading!

  26. I seriously need to participate in a challenge. I have So many books that I have got to read. Maybe a challenge would help me get at least a few off of my massive TBR pile!

  27. Well, there is always the read-a-thon I'm hosting in September... :)

    ReplyDelete
  28. I enjoyed the first two books in this series and I'm hoping to really like this one too.

  29. She's one of the few romance authors that I'll read, so I know what you mean.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I actually liked the first and second books, but not the third as much. I forgot that I still need to read the fourth book, so I'll read them together. I hope we both enjoy them!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I saw your review of the first two books, but I don't think I saw you review The Caller. I'm expecting it to end with quite a bang because everything seems to just keep building. Thanks, Pam!

  32. I know! It's not even September yet and they're rolling out - at least the ARC's. I'll be over...

That is funny you should say that because I only liked the first two books in the series. ;)

  34. That is funny. Guess we have similar tastes. ;)
