My Review

This was a cute little book. It's basically a compilation of twenty treats for the holiday season. Some of the most tempting, at least to me, were the Fall Truffles (basically truffles with pumpkin filing - yum!), Chocolate Peppermint Twist Cupcakes (these simply look divine), Pumpkin Cupcakes with Biscoff Buttercream, Dulce de Leche Filled Pumpkin Cupcakes, and Red Velvet Crepes (these crepes are filled with cream cheese mousse with raspberry sauce). There were also some easy fudge recipes and I definitely crave fudge during the holidays. The ingredients and instructions are simple, and include accompanying pictures (except for a few that do not). Christmas Desserts would be a perfect gift, for some quick ideas for treat plates, or for desserts to make for the holidays.

  7. I may need that braiding book because I suck at braids. I can do the basic braid but when you throw french, fish and whatever else kinda braids there is out there, into the mix... I'm a hot mess.

  14. I read an excerpt and it was creepy. I don't normally do horror, but this story sounds intriguing and so I'm hoping I'll really like it.
