My Reviews
And Something Blue
This was a really fun and sweet story! There was definitely a less than perfect first impression between the MC and her love interests. She gave them both a chance anyway. It was fun to see how things went. I laughed so hard at some of the predicaments Laurie got herself into. She always became rather clumsy around one of the guys. The ending was maybe a little too easy, but it was also rather perfect and a great happily-ever-after ending. I really loved these characters and the story overall! Definitely worth the read!
For Love or Money
I'm definitely beginning to love the merchants on Main Street. This was the second book in this series and it was about one of the four roommates this series focuses on. It was fun to see Morgan's perspective of Laurie and Logan while Morgan's story was told. Morgan's story had some serious and heartbreaking moments, some great sarcasm, and plenty of tender moments. I loved the characters, again. There were some great moments as well. I loved the plot and I loved how things turned out! I'm definitely looking forward to reading the next roommate's story. I'd definitely recommend this one.
Hearts in Harmony
This one started off well. I always love stories about a girl's best friend being in love with that girl's brother. That part worked really well for me and it was sweet how they both tried to hide their feelings for each other, but that his sister/her best friend always knew. It did feel rushed in places and in the romance. There were lots of other parts that didn't make sense to me or feel consistent or realistic. The reasons of why Timothy's dad did what he did and why Valerie did what she did and then how the other characters handled it just didn't make sense. It made it hard for this one to work for me.
Waltzing on Wheels
This was the first story I've read where the hero was a male dancer and the heroine was a paraplegic. It was a good combination and sweet with him helping her learn to dance again. I liked this one better than Hearts in Harmony, but there were still things that didn't fit for me. It was overall a sweet story.
