Help your little ones recognize the joy, responsibility, and importance of being baptized. I Want to Be Baptized – from the same author and illustrator who brought you The Holy Ghost Is like a Blanket – depicts what baptism really means for children’s lives by comparing it to objects they remember and relate to. Turn to these heartwarming illustrations and meaningful analogies next time a child asks you about baptism.

My Review
Oh my goodness! This book was so adorable!! It was longer than I thought it would be, which was a nice surprise. I absolutely loved the illustrations, as did my children. I also really liked how everything was explained and how things were related to what children would comprehend. I liked it so much that I went and grabbed a copy of the author's other book, The Holy Ghost Is like a Blanket. It was just as adorable. I've already gifted these books and will be doing so again in the future.

ReplyDeleteGreat books! When one of my nieces got baptized her "other" grandma gave a talk about the holy ghost being a blanket and gave each of the kids being baptized a blanket. I think it is something they will always remember :)
