Weekly Update #106

Welcome to my Weekly Update where I post my blog's schedule for the week. I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

So it's been crazy, still. New computer should be here this week. I have to admit I'm a little anxious as well as excited about it. I'll have to learn the whole new Windows 8 system... I seriously can't wait though for the speed. I've had to deal with using my tablet a few times this week to keep things going. I'm actually quite surprised that I've not missed a post yet and Prism's tours are still rolling as well as they are. It's just meant that I've been online doing only the essentials and it's taken all of my time. I apologize for all the unanswered comments. I just haven't been able to get to them or really get any extra reading in.

This week the kids are off of school for spring break. I'm planning on hanging out and reading side-by-side with my two oldest and reading some books with them as well as playing with friends. Should be a fun week!

Here's what to expect this week (as long as things go according to plan):

(In case you missed this...)
I posted a review of A Thousand Stolen Moments by Connie Ann Michael. For being an inspirational romance, it was pretty tense romantically. I enjoyed it. :)

I'll be a tour stop for Finger Foods by Joyce Tanner Whiting for its tour. This was a fun cookbook to play around with.
Finger Foods: Elegant Treats and Bite-Sized Eats for Every Occasion

St. Patrick's Day! I'll be a review tour stop for Newbie by Jo Noelle. This is the second book by this author I've read, but the first one was in the YA genre and this one is adult. Come by to see what I thought. I'll also be reviewing Fairest by Marissa Meyer. I've put it off long enough...
Newbie Fairest (The Lunar Chronicles, #3.5)

I'll be posting for Waiting on Wednesday. Did you see last week's WOW for two YA titles? I'll also be a tour stop for The Best Laid Plans by Amy Vastine (love her!) and I'll be reviewing The Bewitching of Alison Allbright by Alan Davidson.
The Best Laid Plans (Chicago Sisters, #2) The Bewitching of Alison Allbright

I'll be participating in the tour for Murder at Tophouse by Clair M. Poulson. This is the third book I've read by this author, I think. I've enjoyed all of them. Plenty of suspense with a little romance.
Murder at Tophouse

I'll be a tour stop for What Is Lost by Lauren Skidmore. This is the second book in the series and the first book I absolutely loved, so I'm dying to review this one!
What Is Lost (What Is Hidden, #2)

I'll be posting a review of Raising an Army of Helaman's Warriors by Mark D. Ogletree and Kevin A. Hinckley. It doesn't hurt to strive to be a better parent and help my kids. I have a few books that I've been reading and will be reading coming through the blog on parenting.
Raising an Army of Helaman's Warriors: A Guide for Parents to Prepare the Greatest Generation of Missionaries

I've gotten some ebooks over the past week, but don't have time to add them this week. Next week...

I finally got my monthly giveaway up. It's for a $10 Amazon gift card, so check that out! I'll also be joining the Lucky leprechaun Giveaway Hop later this week. I still haven't pulled giveaway winner for my Blogoversary. Hopefully I'll get to that this week.
