Weekly Update #105

Welcome to my Weekly Update where I post my blog's schedule for the week. I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

In case you stopped by last week and read about my computer woes... I got my computer back and cleaned and in shape, but with no guarantee of how long it would last. It basically lasted a week. It'll still do some things, but is already showing issues again. So this week is going to be a little rough again. Hopefully I'll have it all figured out soon and be back to getting things done and having fun while using a new computer. ;)

I also had my littlest sick this week, which was not fun. She brings so much joy to our family, especially at the age she is right now and I'm dreading when she will be school age. At lease I have a little bit to go.

It's going to be another really busy week full of lots of reviews. Here's what to expect (as long as things go according to plan):

I'll be posting a review of Jeffrey R. Holland's To My Friends: Messages of Counsel and Comfort. It is one of the best religious books I have ever read, so I'm excited to share my review.

I'll be promoting Breaking Sky by Cori McCarthy for its tour. I was hoping to review as well, but since I'm behind that most likely won't happen by Monday. We'll see.

I'll be a review tour stop for Silence by Deborah Lytton. I'm really looking forward to this one!
Silence

I'll be posting for Waiting on Wednesday. Did you see last week's WOW for two YA titles? I'll also be a tour stop for Almost Loved by Mira Toria.
Almost Loved

I'll be participating in the tour for Heart of Gold by Jeanette Miller. I think this cover is just super cute! Love the lacy underskirt and the cowgirl boots.

I'll be a tour stop for I Hope They Call Me On a Mission by Benjamin Hyrum White and illustrated by Corey Egbert. The pictures are really great.

I'll be posting a review of Lexi's Pathetic Fictional Love Life by Jo Noelle. I might post some other reviews as well that I'm still behind on.

I've gotten quite a few books over the past several week and so did a separate post this week here.

I haven't gotten my monthly giveaway up yet, still. Yep. I'm still behind. So no giveaways right now, which is very unusual, but I'll have some up soon!

Did you miss any of these posts from last week?

What do you have going on this week?

  2. I'm sorry about your little one's sickness, it's always heartbreaking to see them unwell when they're that age. Well, it works at any age, actually, they'll always be our babies :) And it's too bad about your computer, I hope you'll find a solution and have fun with your new computer. Have a great week ;)

  3. There are few things that annoy me more than a computer that doesn't do what it's supposed to do. Hopefully you can get it all figured out. And I hope your daughter is feeling better, poor thing.

  6. It is hard when the little ones get sick. Looks like you need that new laptop sooner rather then later. Good luck!

  7. I hate computer issues! They are the worst so I feel your pain. Maybe it will mean a little extra reading time though, right?? That is always a win in my book :) Have a great week and happy reading!

  8. I need a new wireless nic for my laptop too. I took cordless connection for granted, clearly, because it's a pain to be stuck in one place doing work. Have a good week ahead!

I hope your little one feels better soon. It's so hard to see them sick when they are so young.
Sorry about your computer acting up again too. I've almost got enough money saved to buy a new one in case something start happening with mine. It's older but works like a dream right now.
All of your books are new to me and look forward to reading your reviews.
