Weekly Update #148

Welcome to my Weekly Update where I post my blog's schedule for the week! I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer, as well as to Tynga's Reviews for Stacking the Shelves and Talk Supe for Bought, Borrowed, and Bagged showcasing the books I added to my shelves or Kindle this week.

I've had a great reading week! Maybe it was all the rain we got. It basically poured from Monday through Friday. I love rain! Makes me happy, but also want to cuddle up and read when it's a cold rain. I mostly read at night, but I still got five books finished and already started on a sixth. I have some books I have to catch up on and I'm just about there. I felt like it was a fun week to blog with not a lot of pressure and that makes me quite happy. :)

I also went on a school tour with my oldest to look at a junior high that extends through high school. It kind of scares me that he'll be in that grade next year. It was a good tour though and he's excited to go to the school. I'm happy he's excited, but not happy he's growing up so fast. :/

Prism Book Tours is looking for reviewers for Alethea Kontis' two newest fairy-tale-inspired books. Her Woodcutter Sisters Series that started these are some of my favorite books. These are much darker. Anyway, you don't have to be a blogger to review - you just have to post a review on Amazon. Check it out if you're interested!

I still feel like I'm adjusting to everything being back to normal after the holidays, but I think this week I'll finally be back with it. Let me know what's going on and how your week has been or if you've got anything coming up that you're excited about.

Here's what to expect on the blog this week:
The Clean Slate Read-A-Thon starts Sunday. I'm looking forward to getting some more good reading in. I have some books that I've been dying to read, but haven't gotten to.

I'll be posting two reviews. One will be for Under the Mistletoe Collection from A Timeless Romance Anthology line of books and the other for A Midwinter Ball from the Timeless Regency Collection line. Similar in some ways, different in others. Both enjoyable and sweet. :)
A Timeless Romance Anthology: Under the Mistletoe A Midwinter Ball

I'll be reviewing Broken Things to Mend by Karey White for its tour. This is the first book in this new series that started off with the prequel, The Fortune of the Matchmaker.
Broken Things to Mend (Power of the Matchmaker)

I'll be a tour stop for The Heir and the Spare by Emily Albright. This one just sounded really good and so I'm hoping I'll really like it! I'll also be participating in a cover reveal for Joyce DiPastena's newest release.
The Heir and the Spare

I'll be participating for the first time in Beyond the Books hosted by KissinBlueKaren. It's actually a freebie topic, so I decided I'll be talking about movies. Should be fun!

I'll be posting a review.... I'm normally so scheduled that it's weird not to know exactly what I'll be posting, but I have lots of reading to do this week between a few review books I've committed to and the RAT I'm participating in, so it just depends what I get read early this week. I'm hoping for Winter and doing a Friday Favorites, which I haven't done for forever, but we'll see.

It's been a few weeks since I've done one of these. I have grabbed some ebooks over the past week, but I'm just sharing my physical books this week. Here they are:
If I Run by Terri Blackstock - For Review
The Forbidden Orchid by Sharon Biggs Waller - For Review
With This Ring? by Multiple Authors - For Review
The Matchup by Laura L. Walker - For Review
The Impostor Queen by Sarah Fine - Purchased
Passenger by Alexandra Bracken - Purchased
