Weekly Update #149

Welcome to my Weekly Update where I post my blog's schedule for the week! I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Supposedly I'm on a lighter schedule, but then I looked back to how many posts I had last week (20) and it doesn't look like it. It seems when I'm on a lighter schedule I end up doing a lot, some of which wasn't originally scheduled or are extras. I can't complain as I got a good amount of reading in as well. It's all surprising given that I couldn't get out of bed in the morning while fighting Bronchitis (at least that's what we think it is since there's not a lot of congestion - just my bronchial tubes being swollen and irritated). I'm hoping this week I'll get over it so I don't have to make a trip to the doctor.

The kids are home tomorrow from school and we're finally going to get the rest of Christmas boxed up and clean the house. They will be so not excited. ;)

Did you see the new blog design? I'm still messing around a little with the logo and I'll have new images for memes, although probably with the same old owls because I found that I'm too attached to them. I'm working on some new buttons for reviews and such as well. We'll see how long it takes me. The goal is to be done by my blogoversary in February.

In case you missed this last week (I'll be sharing it through February): Prism Book Tours is looking for reviewers for Alethea Kontis' two newest fairy-tale-inspired books. Her Woodcutter Sisters Series that started these are some of my favorite books. These are much darker. Anyway, you don't have to be a blogger to review - you just have to post a review on Amazon. Check it out if you're interested!

It's supposed to be another lighter week (to be seen), so here's what's on the schedule so far:

This will be a surprise post. It might be a promo (if I hear back) or a review...

I may participate in Top Ten Tuesday again or post a review or both. Depends on what I feel like, but there will be a post.

I'll be a tour review stop for Double Play by Ranee S. Clark. I've really enjoyed Ranee's books so I'm looking forward to this one!
Double Play

I'll be reviewing The Isaac Project by Sarah Monzon for its tour. Isn't this cover so cute?!! Another book I'm looking forward to.

I'm looking forward to having author Emily Martin stopping in for an interview to promote her tour for The Year We Fell Apart. Should be a fun post!

I'll be a tour review stop for The Matchup by Laura L. Walker. This will be the second book I've read from this author and I have high hopes.

No STS/BBB this week. I did get some books, but don't have time to add them. Next week I plan on being more on top of things.

There are some awesome giveaways going on right now! Check them out below (images linked to the their giveaways):
