Did you get anything this week?
Wow, looks like you had a great book haul this week!
ReplyDeleteI really want to get approved for Princess of Thorns, but haven't been yet. :(
Let me know how it is!
Great haul this week!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Stacking the Shelves
I picked up a few for the Read-a-thon next week! Can't wait!
Happy National Read A Book Day! :)
Great review. I love Kasie West, her books never disappoint. I must admit to preferring Pivot Point to Split Second, but I thought they were both really great.
ReplyDeleteAmazing haul this week, you've got a lot of great looking books. Heir of Fire <3 I can't get enough of that series, no idea how we are expected to wait for the next book. The Melissa Wright books look interesting, I haven't seen those before. I hope you enjoy them all :)
ReplyDeleteI got Princess of Thorns, Suspicion, and Heir of Fire too. Already read Heir of Fire (it was amazing, but so dark). And I'm really excited about Princess of Thorns. I LOVED Of Beast and Beauty, it was a five star read for me. And Suspicion sounds so good. Have fun reading! ~Pam
ReplyDeleteEnvy by Anna Godbersen
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
For some reason I thought this was middle grade -- the cover, while beautiful, looks more like MG to me. Glad you enjoyed, though :)
ReplyDeleteJen @ YA Romantics
I could kind of see that with the cat on the front, but it definitely is too violent for MG and has older characters. This one reminded me a little of Throne of Glass, but is also very different in its plot. There isn't magic, but it has the darkness/survival feel to the story and Kyra moves like an assassin, although she's a thief. I think you'd like this one, Jen.
ReplyDeleteI did!! Thank you I'm so excited
ReplyDeleteGreat haul! Enjoy your new reads.

I would choose Heir of Fire or The Forever Song. From the comments I am definitely going to have to start The Darkest Minds series in the future though:)
ReplyDeleteI would choose Between the Spark and the Burn by April Tucholke!
ReplyDeleteAlso I said in the rafflecopter I replied as Emily @ Falling For YA but apparently I'm actually replying as Emily Siess. My bad.
I would probably pick Siege and Storm or Rebel Spring. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOmg you're so right! Haha I do that too, so glad I started VA when all the books were out...or I'd die.
ReplyDeleteI would choose Scarlet by Marissa Meyer. Thank you for the giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteI prefer Pivot Point too, but I loved them both. :) I'm excited for West's next book, but sad that it will be one at a time now. I've been spoiled with two a year from her.
ReplyDeletePivot Point was SO good! Ideally, I'd read Split Second immediately afterwards. I think you'd definitely like them, Dee!
ReplyDeleteIt took forever to get approved!!! I was surprised I finally got it. I hope you do to!
ReplyDeleteI'm really excited for the Read-a-thon!! I had some fun getting the challenges all ready and I'm curious to see what everyone does and what everyone reads. I'll come check out your stack...
ReplyDeleteMelissa is awesome! That series is really good too! I'm hoping to read Heir of Fire this week. I told myself I had to finish some other books, so it's kind of my reward for doing so (I really just want to skip to it and not read those other books).
ReplyDeleteI thought Of Beast and Beauty was such an interesting story and very well written. I'm planning on loving all of these! :D
ReplyDeleteIsn't the cover awesome?!! It's a NA compilation that's on sale right now and proceeds go to raise funds for literacy. Definitely worth it. :)
ReplyDeleteI'll come check out your stack, Jillyn...
ReplyDeleteThanks! I hope I do. :)
ReplyDeleteEvertrue, so I can complete my collection! Or maybe The Treatment by Suzanne Young, so I finish that, haha. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteBoth good choices. :)
ReplyDeleteI loved that book and really love that whole series!
ReplyDeleteI've heard such great things of that series and have both World After and Angelfall waiting on my shelf for me.

ReplyDeleteIt is a great series. I'm hoping to get it read this week.
ReplyDeleteI'm planning on reading the third book in that series this month and looking forward to seeing how it ends.

ReplyDeletemaybe heir of fire - regnod(at)yahoo(d0t)com
ReplyDeleteI am undecided. Can I pick later if I win?
ReplyDeleteI like friends to lovers, it adds spice to a story :) I also like characters to be well built, side characters included. Great review !
ReplyDeleteHeir of Fire :D
ReplyDeleteIt's a meme where you link up the books you got each week, sharing them with everyone. I hope that clears that up. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I hope you like it if you get a chance to read it.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you liked them! I do need to read them. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice!
ReplyDeleteI've only read one of her books, but I liked it. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm planning on reading it this month, hopefully sooner than later. I hope we both love it!
ReplyDeleteI've got that one to read and it's been high on my list too.
ReplyDeleteOf course. :) The question was more that I was curious what entrants were wanting. It's kind of interesting to see the trends and to also find new books.
ReplyDelete:D cool, no many people know the saga o the author :(
ReplyDeleteI would love to win Ruin and Rising! Thanks so much for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI really loved that book! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI am thinking Ruin and Rising
ReplyDeleteI might want In The After Light.
ReplyDeleteI
ReplyDeletewould love to get The Book of Life by Deborah Harkness! I've been wanting to read this
one for a while!!
I think I would choose Isla and the Happily Ever After.
ReplyDeleteHeir of fire!
ReplyDeleteI would love a copy of Once We Were (The Hybrid Chronicles #2) by Kat Zhang!
ReplyDeleteI think I'd pick M.J. Putney's Dark Destiny.
ReplyDeleteReally? Ok I'll make sure to have split second reachable when I read pivot point ;)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win either Isla and The Happily Ever or Scarlet by Marissa Meyer! Thank you for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win In A Handful Of Dust by Mindy McGinnis!
ReplyDeleteI would probably choose In The Afterlight by Alexandra Bracken. I loved The Darkest Minds and I can't wait to get my hands on the last book in the trilogy :)
ReplyDeleteI would choose one of the Odd Thomas books by Dean Koontz.
ReplyDeleteIf you live in the US, make sure you've entered the publisher-sponsored giveaway for the entire series here.
ReplyDeleteThere isn't a lot of recap in Split Second, so it would be easiest to read them together so you don't have to remember who is who.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great bookish haul. Ironically, I just watched the Epic Reads ARC party video the other day in which they talked about Twisted Fate. Sounds like an interesting read - cannot wait to get your thoughts. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to read World After by Susan E E, the second book on Penryn & the End of Days Series. Thanks for the giveaway :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a hard call. I have several books that should be coming out over the course of the next couple of weeks. I'll just have to see what is available.......
ReplyDeleteI would definitely choose Blue Lily, Lily Blue! I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have City of Heavenly Fire. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I'm not but thanks anyway :)
ReplyDeleteWould love Heir of Fire
ReplyDeleteI may pick Heir of Fire.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to read Stone Cold Touch! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMaybe Invaded? Thanks for the giveaway!
