Clean Contemporary YA Romance
Paperback, 266 Pages
September 15, 2014 by Kensington Publishing Corp.

Summary

One last summer before college on beautiful Tybee Island is supposed to help Sienna forget. But how can she? This is where her family spent every summer before everything changed, before the world as she knew it was ripped away.

But the past isn’t easily left behind. Especially when Sienna keeps having episodes that take her back to the night she wants to forget. Even when she meets the mysterious Austin Dobbs, the guy with the intense blue eyes, athlete’s body, and weakness for pralines who scooped her out of trouble when she blacked out on River Street.

When she’s with Austin, Sienna feels a whole new world opening up to her. Austin has secrets, and she has history. But caught between the past and the future, Sienna can still choose what happens now…

Praise for the Book

“Johnston’s debut spotlights romance and familial relationships, including themes like grief and self-sacrifice. It’s an ideal story for readers looking for a deep-rooted YA love story with the emotional ups and downs and poignancy of a Nicholas Sparks contemporary. There’s also a touch of wit and a sigh-worthy hero – a definite on your TBR list.” – RT Book Reviews

“This is contemporary YA fiction at its best! –Kay Lynn Mangum, author of The Secret Journal of Brett Colton

Rewind to You will steal your hear away.” –Kelly Nelson, author of The Keeper’s Saga

  5. I did great the first day! I actually read one full-length book: Burning Dawn by Gena Showalter. Once I started, couldn't stop reading it :) I'm actually halfway through with my 2nd read today, so I wonder if it will be a book a day again ;) It just might be, because I love this one, too, and it's a shorter read than the previous one.

    Happy reading!

  13. It helped that it rained half the day and we were stuck at home. :)

  21. Lol! Really. Some of you guys will be reading much more than I will, but I need to read a ton, so that's what I'm working on. A book a day would make me so happy. :)

  22. I'm debating doing it a little later next year. We start school so early here compared to the rest of the nation, so maybe late September next time. Thanks, Jen! :)

  23. Thanks, Ana! I'll come over.

  24. I don't always post every day or post different posts - usually I just update one, but I"m more involved when I'm hosting. :)

  25. Ha! Sometimes I read two books a week, so I'm really trying to get a lot of reading done. Thanks, Samantha!

  26. That's okay, Abbi. That's one reason why the read-a-thon is a little longer. Sometimes I have a few days that are crazy and without knowing that they would be and then I don't get any reading in and the read-a-thon is over. I wanted it to be laid-back enough that everyone would have a chance to get some reading in. :)

  27. No I think your date is good because of all the fall releases . I'll just have to be more organized next year!

  28. More organized? I feel like you are already so well organized, Jen. :) I'm planning on having the sign up go up a lot earlier so people can prepare better for it too, so that might help if everyone has plenty of notice.

Is it too late to sign up! I really love this idea and hopefully next year will participate earlier in the month!

    ReplyDelete
  33. It is too late, unfortunately. :( I had to draw the line somewhere and the cut-off was the end of day on Wednesday. It will happen again next year though, so mark it on your calendar for September 14th! You can go enter all the giveaways hosted by the authors though. Those you don't have to be a RAT participant to be eligible. :)
