What books would you grab to take to the beach?
I love how you broke this out! I primarily read YA-ish Romance so I will definitely check out your picks since I haven't read any of those yet.
ReplyDeleteI am a sucker for books set in Rome. I love that city so much. We used to have digs there every fall when I was in college... Dead guys can also be fun sometimes ;)

Another L.M. Montgomery book I haven't read! I keep finding them! I'll have to add The Blue Castle to my list.

Spotted some favorites here. Oh, and again, I must read a Kasie West this summer. No excuses! Thanks for this fun list, Tressa... and I love how you put this together. That font is awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteI still want to read Rebel Belle. I am off to check out some of the Christian fiction. I am a little out of the loop. Happy summer reading!
ReplyDeleteI am amazed at the beautiful covers I'm seeing today! The YA Beach Reads are more my style but I've got my eye on Becoming Lady Lockwood because the cover is so enticing. I'm assuming it's a historical read which I want to read more of. Lovely list <3
ReplyDeleteGreat picks -- I just bought On the Fence and I hear great things! I also really want to read Rebel Belle!!

Anything by L.M. Montgomery, I think :) I also think the Christy Miller books would make perfect beach reads.
ReplyDeleteLol! I have an ARC, so really, I should have it read by now too, but I've had all sorts of issues and things going on since February and so all my reading is behind. I hope you get to it soon!
ReplyDeleteHmm. I'll have to let you know. I think you'd love the first book. Like, REALLY love it. So I'd definitely recommend it.
ReplyDeleteI loved the first book and so I'm really looking forward to this one.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. I like hearing what everyone likes though. Gives me a working list. :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely at least read On the Fence, but they are all good. :)
ReplyDeleteLol! Love it! I do have a variety of tastes, so I'd go for those kinds of books as well.
ReplyDeleteYou STILL haven't read West's books??? Definitely read On the Fence and Pivot Point. Really. ;) The font is fun, isn't it?!! I thought it looked kind of beachy. :)
ReplyDeleteRebel Belle still makes me smile. I have the second book to read sitting on my shelf, but I was happy that the first book had a great ending - no big cliffhanger. All the Christian fiction are good, so I hope you get a chance to read them and that you like them.
ReplyDeleteIt is historical and she's not real old, so it would almost work as YA, maybe more NA... I'd definitely recommend it. :) Thanks, Adriana!
ReplyDeleteI hope you love On the Fence! The brothers made that story for me - just the whole feel was fabulous. I loved the main characters as well!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to look up Christy Miller... The Blue Castle is Montgomery's only true adult book and it is fabulous! I actually need to read it again and write a proper review.
ReplyDeleteI love all your picks! I like the idea that you took 5 from each genre you like to read at the beach. I just want to go to the beach :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband just bought one for a trip he went on with Jackson. He likes his as well :)
ReplyDeleteJust added it to my TBR list. I think I will enjoy these!
ReplyDeleteOn the Fence made it to my list too! Happy reading.

Becoming Lady Lockwood is sooo good! I am digging that middle row of books! hope you enjoy all your reads.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to know that Rebel Belle delivers a complete story for a first in series. I don't mind a teaser to get me excited about a book, but I expect a conclusion to the book that I just spent hours with.
ReplyDeleteI have been looking for some more mysteries for me to try reading next year, and this one seems like it would be worth my attention! It's a shame that there was not enough suspense to keep you intrigued all the time though.
ReplyDeleteI actually haven't heard of a lot of these books, but I have when it comes to the YA ones. I hope you get to read some of those this summer :) And maybe even at the beach! The Rebel Belle series looks good and I would love to try it :3
ReplyDeleteI hope you do!
ReplyDeleteThey're a necessity, right? I can't believe we went so long without one!
ReplyDeleteIt was definitely a lighter one, but I did enjoy it and I liked that there were several things going on here too.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I really don't like cliff hangers.
ReplyDeleteLol! Me too!!! It's one of my favorite places.
ReplyDeleteWasn't it?!!! I'm so glad she's pushing out her books because I've been really enjoying them.
ReplyDeleteWell, it is a fabulous book! ;) I'll come see your list too.
ReplyDeleteI've actually read all of these and they're favorites or ones I would read again and I felt wold be great for the beach. Rebel Belle is just awesome. Definitely pick it up!
